Two New Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooters Expected to Launch in Nepal at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026

Bajaj Auto is expected to expand its electric scooter lineup in Nepal with the introduction of two new Chetak models, as reports suggest the Chetak C2501 and Chetak C3503 could make their debut during the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, scheduled for August.

The Bajaj Chetak C2501 is expected to serve as the more affordable option in the lineup. It is likely to feature a 2.5 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed IDC-certified range of 113 km on a single charge.

Currently, Bajaj's electric scooter portfolio in Nepal consists of the Chetak 3501, which is priced at Rs 3.24 lakh. Positioned in the premium electric scooter segment, the Chetak 3501 is claimed to offer an IDC-certified range of 153 km and supports 0–80 percent charging in around three hours.

The scooter is equipped with 35 litres of under-seat storage and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, offering features such as navigation, music controls and document access.

It also includes connected safety features such as geo-fencing, accident detection and anti-theft protection, placing it among the more technology-focused electric scooters currently available in Nepal.

If launched, the upcoming C2501 and C3503 would give Bajaj a broader electric scooter lineup by introducing both a more accessible entry point and another premium variant, allowing the brand to compete across a wider range of price segments.

Bajaj Nepal is yet to announce official specifications, pricing or launch dates for the two models. However, with the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 approaching, more details are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
